Connexus Technology was founded in 2003 by Lawrence James and Chris Holland, two veteran software developers and entrepreneurs whose passion for computers and information technology led them to develop Philadelphia's premier systems integration and custom data management company. After years of working in the software industry, Lawrence and Chris wanted to discover new opportunities for implementing web-based portal technologies. They also wanted to develop information systems for organizations in need of custom information management tools not available off the shelf. Connexus Technology was born as a result of those efforts.
From its roots as a technology-based startup, Connexus has evolved into one of the leading independent providers of system integration, web mastering and IT staffing solutions. As a premier systems integrator, Connexus implements data management technology that helps organizations leverage their data for better decision-making. The software tools Connexus develops are useful to large organizations that depend on the proper management of large amounts of data.
Connexus Technology is currently focused on providing data access, visibility, and governance solutions to the health care and pharmaceutical industries. During its eight years in operation, Connexus has served clients including TD Bank, DOW Chemical, Independence Blue Cross, Geisinger Health Systems, Morton Salt, and many others. The company has won numerous awards for its outstanding work, including the 2007 Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the 2008 Innovative Business of the Year.

Our Commitment to Community
Connexus Technology is committed to using cutting-edge technology to positively impact people around the world. Through the creation of the Connexus Foundation and PrayerConnexus.com, the company and its employees provide ongoing support and dedication to bringing the Connexus values into the community.
Established in 2009, PrayerConnexus (www.prayerconnexus.com) is a website designed to unite the globe in prayer by connecting people in need of prayer with churches and faith-based organizations that have missions to pray for others in need. PrayerConnexus.com gives people the ability to share their requests, both locally and internationally, with those who have a desire to pray for others.
In July of 2010, leaders of Connexus made an 11-day trip through earthquake-shattered Haiti to deliver food, water, various supplies and—perhaps most importantly—hope to those they encountered. CEO Lawrence James documented these stories on his iPhone, as well as the reactions of the trip's volunteers. This footage has recently been edited into a three-part online miniseries called "Shine A Light" and can be viewed in its entirety at PrayerConnexus.com.
