Prayer Connexus

April 12th 2009 (Easter Sunday) marked the launch of a ground-breaking social media site created by two Drexel Grads and dedicated to putting the power of prayer in the hands of people around the world. The site, PrayerConnexus (www.prayerconnexus.com) offers users the chance to post their personal prayers on-line where others around the world can talk to and pray for each other. The non-denominational site is geared toward Christians but welcomes all faiths as well as those who are just interested in learning more about the power of prayer. Lawrence James (Drexel Class of ’02), CEO and co-founder of both the site and its parent company, Connexus Technology, said he was pleased with the launch and the response the site has seen. "It really has been a blessing. This is the second generation of the site and the increase we have seen in the number of participants and their enthusiasm with the site is inspiring.
